General Information

The School District of Newberry County is now offering a secure site for current and former students to access transcripts, attendance, and employment verifications.

Per District policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) student records are only available to those who have authorization from the student or parent, guardian or responsible person if the student is less than 18 years of age. If the student is 18 years of age or older, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian, or responsible person without the student’s written consent.

Records are retained at your last school of attendance.

Please note the information below:

• A THREE dollar convenience fee will be added to each transaction.
• Please allow 3 to 5 business days to process student record orders
• Requests for information must be completed online and will be processed on normal business days during normal business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM).

Attention Drayton Street and Gallman High School graduates/former students:

Since Drayton Street School and Gallman High do not exist anymore, your records are kept at Newberry High School. Therefore please select Newberry High School as your school or else your order will NOT be seen or processed. In the SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS you must indicate which school (Drayton or Gallman) you attended so that we may locate your information. Please note your record will only include transcript information, not birth certificate or immunization. If you need birth certificate or immunization, those may be on file at Newberry County Public Health Department at (803) 321-2170.
